Who We Are

The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is God’s word to His people, which is you and me. The scriptures both old and new testaments, are the inspired, unchanging, and unfailing revelation of God to man, and the authority of faith and conduct. It is the revealed will of God as the all sufficient rule of faith and standard for daily living.

Holy Spirit:

Before He died, Christ promised to send a comforter. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the realization of that promise. His job is to comfort, to guide, to convict, to teach, and make us more like Christ. He operates through us with spiritual gifts of healing, prophecy, words of wisdom and knowledge, tongues (spiritual language), interpretation of tongues, miracles, faith, and discernment.

Jesus:

We believe that Jesus was fully God and fully man.  He came to earth, born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying on a cross for our sins.  In doing this He took our punishment for sin on himself giving us the only way to salvation.  He defeated death by rising again on the third day, and ascended to the Father in heaven.

The Father:

We believe that God the Father is all powerful, knows all, is everywhere, and is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He is the creator of heaven and earth and everything in it. He is the reason we exist and in Him we live and move. He is the very definition of love.  He is a loving, compassionate, faithful father.

The Church:

We believe the church is the representative of Jesus on Earth and is to carry out the great commission. The Church involves your local community and the Church as a whole Globally.  We believe that the local church is an integral part in the Kingdom. We work together to bring the Gospel to our local communities and in doing so bringing the Gospel to the world.

Man:

Man was created in the image of God.  When God created man love and fellowship with man was his ultimate goal.  Man became separated from God through sinful disobedience. To be reunited with God required a savior, Jesus Christ.  He is the only way to God. We are all created different possessing our own unique giftings, callings, and relationship with God.

Eternity:

When God created man he had eternity in place.  We will exist forever. To die in sin is to be eternally separated from God.  To die in relationship with God is to be forever united with him. Eternal separation from God is hell.  Eternal union with God is heaven. What we choose while living here on the earth will affect our eternal position.

John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15

Salvation:

Man’s separation from God because of sinful disobedience is why we are all in need of salvation.  We believe that there is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ, God’s only son.  Jesus shed his blood on the cross, providing a path to forgiveness of sin. The choice to believe God sent His son for payment of our sins, repenting of your sins, and asking the Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart is the way to salvation.  There is no other way to earn salvation.
